Let’s talk frankly about the reality of what you can achieve on your own whilst decluttering.
Underestimating a task is normal, you are so not on your own.
Otherwise, let’s face it, Declutter Me wouldn’t exist!
It’s often something my clients are relieved to hear that other people ask for help too. We are not very good at that but I believe we are getting better at it.
Being realistic about what you want to achieve is very difficult when you are already feeling overwhelmed. I always talk about kitchens in this instance as they are always considered to be quick fixers.
Spoiler Alert, this is not the case!
With so many bits and pieces they always take longer than you think , which is why some people often start a task and then halfway through give up .
Always start small .
Whatever you achieve , you should be proud of yourself, for not feeling frustrated or angry at the fact you haven’t resolved the whole task.
Ultimately call in the professionals to help you get back on track we can not only help the situation but also we do this as a job, we can’t all be brilliant at everything!
I love meeting new clients and revisiting all of our existing ones and am in awe of what they do too.
