New Year Update

by Sally Walford

Happy New Year!

What a great time to start decluttering!

A New Year always makes me feel that something has to change and also how to embrace it.

Take a look at some of the things we have been up to over the holidays :)

Lets get decluttering into 2015.

Decluttering is making the papers this year.

Decluttering A Playroom

I spent some time over the xmas period decluttering a playroom.

The kids loved it as we made a game of it, plus giving some old toys to make other children happy was really exciting for them.

For more transformations see our page on Case Studies

We realise that not all children are as enthusiastic about tidying and sometimes giving.

This little gem of a book is great for kids and explains decluttering in a child friendly way.

To do today

If you are wondering what to do with those Xmas cards?

Marks and Spencer are turning old xmas cards into trees!

Take all your cards and recycle them at the store and in return every 1000 card a tree is planted!

How to give a little back this Christmas

If you can’t fit this into your busy schedule then why not file them away neatly and then reuse throughout the year as tags for presents?

They don’t have to be just for xmas you can create some great ideas for a retro looking tag!
